Our nationally recognized speakers have decades of combined experience, so our team can customize workshops and keynote presentations to fit every need.  Anything from Google Apps training by our Google Certified Trainer to social media, we can help. Here are some examples of topics we can deliver.

Google Workspace

All Google, All The Time
Everyone knows how to do a “Google Search” but fewer people know about many of Google’s other tools and resources. During this presentation, our Google Certified Trainer will demonstrate various other Google tools and services that will help your employees become more efficient users of the web.

TechTools

Engaging Learners with Digital Tools

In this session we share tools as well as stories about schools and classrooms that have used them to engage learners. We teach educators to use exciting tools to reach even the most reluctant learners. We also explore topics like multi-tasking, quick researching and information literacy while seeking to help participants imagine ways they can empower students to become skillful in using the tools of today.

social media

Getting Personal with Social Media and Learning Networks

This session is an exploration of social networks as learning tools. Through numerous examples, we will invite participants to begin developing their own Personal Learning Network while helping participants see the effectiveness of these engaging learning environments, while sharing the importance of teaching good online behaviors.

VirtualIntegrity

Virtual Integrity

One can barely go a day without reading something about digital citizenship and the ethical use of media. This presentation demonstrates a new approach to teaching Internet Safety. How can our belief system affect not only what media we consume and purchase, but also how we view and use the Internet. The presentation will focus on virtues and how they should assist the 21st century student in decision-making about media and Internet use through the perspective of personal integrity

WHO WE ARE?

We have been giving private, group and virtual tours of the Gettysburg battlefield for years.  While we are not Licensed Battlefield Guides, we are able to provide you with high-quality tours for your group or classroom.  Rather than focusing on a lot of “boring history” our virtual field trips bring an overview the battle mixed with primary sources and intriguing stories from the actual participants.

Looking for something else?

For over 15 years, Teaching the Civil War has been providing professional development, lesson plans, resources, videos, tools, tips, and strategies for teaching the American Civil War.  Our nationally recognized speakers can work with your teachers to provide them with the tools necessary to help their students become tradigital historians.
